Goguryo Football Club(Korean football team) was formed
in the 2002 when Korea and Japan hosted the 2002 FIFA
world cup in which Korean National team finally reached
the quarter final. it was formerly sponsored by a Korean
forwarding company, Sanko. The team usually played
their games in Tanglin or Marina south fields. The majority
of the team players used to be trevel guides at first. But,
now as many Korean players from different sectors are
participating. Also, the team is getting younger with young
generation. Subsequently our team is improving in
strength and skill with some of the young players.
In March of this year, we achieved great success in the
Kowloon Club Multi-cultural tournament 2006 organized by
a Hong Kong community club, named Kowloon. The team
performed the runners up title among the 8 international
football clubs in the event. Now, It is time to consider
participating in an official amateur League like Sunday
Division league. . All the members are definitely Korean
and we also welcome any players who love Korea and
Korean.
