Started with only ten men as others were late. Made it more difficult against our rival Phoenix. Some more we have to win the game to ensure we stay in div 3. Countless attacks from Phoenix made things so difficult for RCA but we managed to hold our ground. RCA also had a fair share of attacks and should have gone one up in the 1st half if our top scorer did not slipped at the very last minute. Goaless at 1st half... Amzaing.. 2nd half started at about the same way as the 1st. RCA managed to capitalised on a defensive error and Gurmit made no mistake. 1-0 RCA. However Phoenix fought back well and managed to score from a corner kick at a close range when a looping header went in after beating the GK at full stretch. 1-1. Should say that RCA were ever so lucky against Phoenix as we held on to a draw. Shots came in from everywhere but could not beat the GK, or even if beat the GK, it went off the target. Draw was a good result for RCA and the performance from the team was commendable but came a bit too late in the season. Now we have to go into playoff match to decide our fate next seson. Great game Phoenix (Champions of Div 3). Till we meet again.

A game we should have win and win big. It was deja vu VS RCA when dozen of scoring chances we had all gone to waste. At half time, it is quite unbelieveable that we didn't at least score one. It would be a huge miscarriage of justice if we didn't at least walk away with a point after RCA took the lead in the 2nd half through a poor defensive error at the back. Thankfully, John pure determination finally opened the account deservably for Phoenix. A superb glancing header passed a sea of defenders to bury into the net and triggering hysteria from the watching players on the sideline. A goal never been so welcome before! This important goal pulled us back from the brink of disaster and therefore MOM goes to the man who scored it- John, who also had a good 2nd half.
